In honor of the rare, total solar eclipse that Gilmer will experience on April 8th, this year’s Risk It for the Brisket BBQ Competition and Festival will be a total Blackout!

BBQ Competition starts Friday, April 5th, with the Chef’s Choice Competition. Free Public Festival is Saturday, April 6th starting at 10:00 a.m., with free Kid’s Corner, vendors, food trucks, live music, and a free community concert sponsored by CUTX kicking off with the headliner at 8pm.
